Planned maintenance includes the assumption, by Power Quality, for the compliance, maintenance and upkeep of earthing, lightning, surge and cathodic protection systems on behalf of customers. This takes place by means of a service level agreement between Power Quality and the client, defining minimum performance requirements that Power Quality is to adhere to.

This will typically include

  • Formulation of an annual programme of surveys and testing together with the client
  • This programme is supported by a call-out facility in respect of urgent problems
  • Supply of a maintenance inventory of spare parts/materials, such claps, fixings cabling and rigid electrodes, also agreed to with the clientAnnual certification of mission-critical systems is also a crucial part of the maintenance programme.
